CLINIC FEES

All consultations can be face-to-face or by Skype, Zoom, or telephone.
Chronic cases are complex and often affect multiple body systems. The process of recovery is stepwise and takes place in cycles.  This is a process of collaboration between patient and practitioner where patient response to interventions guides the next move.

 

Initial Consultation

The Initial Consultation of 90 minutes includes a thorough case history, after which each patient receives an Initial Report which sets out a tailored step-by-step Recovery Plan, including laboratory tests, dietary and initial supplement recommendations.

 

Follow-Up Consultations

Follow Up Consultations outline the next interventions following laboratory test results and observation of patient response to initial interventions.  Reports may then need to be updated.

Subsequent follow-up consultations are made on an as-needed basis throughout the remainder of your Recovery Plan with the frequency of appointments depending upon the complexity and severity of your condition, as well as your response to your Plan.

Clinic Fees

Consultations, with Patient Reports:

  • Initial Consultation of 90 minutes + Initial Patient Report - £250

  • Follow up appointment of 60 minutes + Report Update - £150

  • Follow up appointment of 30 minutes + Report Update - £100

Consultations without Report Updates:

  • Follow up appointment of 60 minutes only - £100

  • Follow up appointment of 30 minutes only - £65

  • Follow up appointment of 15 minutes only - £35

 
 

Laboratory Tests

Consultation fees do not include laboratory testing costs, phlebotomy fees or any prescribed supplements. Laboratory fees vary from £15 to £600 upwards. Recommended laboratory tests depend upon the nature and complexity of your condition. While there is no obligation to order laboratory tests, they do take the guesswork out of case analysis and enable me to better identify the underlying causes of your condition. I am used to working with all budgets.

Additional Treatments

Smoking Cessation Package
£260

Consists of initial consultation of one hour, plus 3 low level laser sessions on consecutive days.

Low Level Laser Lymphatic Drainage
45 minutes — £75

Available to existing patients only as part of ongoing Recovery Programme.

 
 

Admin Fees
All admin fees are charged at a rate of £35 per quarter of an hour or part thereof. Admin fees include:

  • Letters/ reports to doctors or other health professionals.

  • Review of NHS lab tests or private lab tests ordered by a  practitioner other than myself.

  • Any other case reviews outside of a consultation.

Payment Methods
All clinic fees are payable on the day of  the consultation by cash, card or cheque.

 

Email Policy
Short emails requiring clarification (no longer than 5 minutes) about your Recovery Plan are free of charge. For queries about your existing programme, supplements or lab test instructions requiring a short answer or booking appointments.

They are generally answered in the evening. I try to answer promptly, though I do receive a lot of emails and it is not always possible to answer on the same evening.

Clinic fee for longer emails - If you wish me to answer a longer email that involves several questions, the clinic fee is charged at the admin rate of £35 per 15 minutes work.

For longer queries requiring more than simple answer or when a new situation has arisen, safe practice dictates that these queries are addressed in a follow up consultation. Consultation time is booked in 15 minute slots and can range from 15 minutes to an hour or longer. Follow up consultations must be booked in advance and can be by phone, Zoom or face-to-face.

 

Late Cancellations / Missed Appointments
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.   Late cancellations and missed appointments (barring exceptional circumstances) will result in a charge of half the missed consultation fee.

 

Private Medical Insurance
As a practitioner registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), I am recognised for reimbursement with a number of private health cash plan providers such as Health Shield, Simply Health and a number of specific employer plans with Westfield Health.  It is your responsibility check your arrangements with private health cash plan providers.   It is essential that you settle fees at the time of your consultation so that I can provide you with a receipt to reclaim the fee from your insurance company.
